Tuesday, July 16, 9:00 - 10:30 am (CT)

Fee: $25 for INA members/ $50 for all others

Going into effect on July 1, The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) recently updated its overtime regulations, significantly impacting both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Under the new rules, the salary threshold for overtime pay eligibility has been raised from $35,568 to $55,000 per year. This change aims to ensure that more workers are fairly compensated for overtime hours, addressing wage stagnation and the rising cost of living. For employees, particularly in the nonprofit sector, this adjustment means that many more workers will qualify for time-and-a-half pay when working over 40 hours per week.

Join this important workshop to learn more about how nonprofit leaders can ensure compliance with the new rules and other ways to prepare.
