As a Human Resource (HR) professional with over 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping employers create positive, productive work environments. I work with employers all over the US, providing “on-call” and project-based HR expertise.
Over my career, I’ve worked in all facets of HR for various non-profits, for-profits and public sector employers in multiple states, including US Airways, Goodwill Industries, YWCA, and Netflix. I’ve led HR teams, and managed high-volume HR services for work groups as large as 3,000 employees.
I have Bachelor of Arts in HR Management and a Minor degree in Spanish from Western Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Arizona State University. I am certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and I am a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). I am also a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), which requires significant expertise with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and worker’s compensation.
In addition to HR consulting, I am a Career and Leadership Coach. I help professionals create work they love, whether it’s finding a new career path, transitioning to a new job, or creating the ideal workplace at their current job.
When I’m not working in HR or coaching, you can find me hiking, running, kayaking, listening to music, hanging out with friends, or with my beloved cat, Cheeto.
